Hey guys welcome to city soles tv, i\'m your host Scott Starbuck and welcome to winter time in AMERICA. It has been crazy out there, -40/-50 degree snow everywhere and maybe 10%/5% of the time you need to wear snow boots. 100% water proof/sure lien line,guarantee to 20 -0 type of stuff. What we do in fashion is we have Chicago proof footwear. Things that you can wear from here, to the coffee shop, to the train, down to the valet, in to the cab or your Uber. they\'re great and there fine for getting around town and they\'re going to be great for being outside. Even if its snowing or not. So Rachael gots\' layers on here. A little hoody, leather coat underneath, and a big peacoat on the outside. Big wool /tightwool so its a little wind proof and the layers helps keep you warm. What we throw on with it is an urban hiking boot. Their GREAT! Their actual hiking boots. They\'re oiled leather, relatively water proof and water resistant. We spray them with a silicone spray. They\'re woven with this big cushy wool thing. I love the red laces and these are bomb proof/ Chicago proof boots. You can wear them everywhere you have to go. If your going to be sledding for 3 hours you\'ll want to upgrade to water proof stuff. Those are great examples of a cool fashion item that you could be Chicago proof or out and about. Lets look at some other items that are great for the winter to be Chicago proof/North America. Same stuff, threw on a cute little hat here. Add accessories; mittens, gloves, hats, scarfs at some point are fashion but at some point there actually necessities. This is a cute little boot that\'s actually in our clearance room right now. Its an oiled leather that helps it be a little more water proof. Its Shirley lined so it gives you a fuzzy warm feeling. And whats nice about it has big rubber bottom that keeps you out of the muck. The problem is if your standing in a puddle that\'s deep and your standing there long enough it will soak through your boot. But these are going to be fine warmth wise and weather wise for Chicago proof doing 99 percent of the things you need to do. Running around everywhere. I like the multipurpose things. Great tie, lost the pea coat great little leather coat with the hoody, nice scarf. If it gets really cold you can wrap it up to keep you warm. I love love LOVE these motor-cycle boots. These are amazing motorcycle boots and they can be worn all year around. There great in the winter, you can wear some nice wool socks with them. We can spray them with silicone spray that\'ll make them water resistant. The water will bead up and roll off. they got big rubber bottoms that will keep you out of the muck. also, itll prevent you from slipping. Style wise there\'s no season to them you can wear them all year around. Great urban Chicago city winter boot and they\'re great in the summer with the right outfits. Riding motorcycles or looking like you love motorcycles. Killer rock n roll motorcycle boots there. They can be your awesome winter weather things. Like if you want to go to a ski town. After, ski you can throw these on for hanging out or for going to the bar and restaurant as well. Still gives you cool, next week is Sun dance in Park City. so instead of wearing muckinlucks out at night you can wear something a little sassier and sexier and be ready to go. Another fresh look, and I love tall riding boots. These are classics, a lot of woman have in their closet also, very popular out in the marketplace. Rachael got the leather on with a little scarf and hoody that she made. Also, some cute little mittens. I love these riding boots. classic riding boots done with a twist. nice little inside zip here so she can get them on and off.. I love the little laces on the front which gives them a really cool Plesturian look. They\'re functional but you don\'t have to jack with them. You can tie them up, leave them there and never mess with them again. But whats key is they\'re not leather soles. They got a big rubber sole, they got big rubber sole which is treaded so you wont slip on your tush. Bite it and be embarrassed in front of everybody. Rubber soles is one of the keys here; it\'ll keep your feet warm, off the ground and out the muck. Your looking at being fashionable/lovable in your Chicago proof fashion proof shoes out there in the winter. So, 90% of the time you can wear alot of these things in winter climates in North America. Sometimes, that 10% of the time you got to bear down and put on that gat down coat and the water proof stuff. You know you cant go out and be sassy in a pair of giant water proof boots and down coat.
